i. shipping
We aim to process all orders within 1-3 days (excluding weekends and holidays), but delays are always possible. All our orders are fulfilled by a third party fulfilment centre based in Croydon, London.
Please note that with pre-orders, processing times may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as production delays or printing errors. While we aim to indicate a rough shipping date for books which are available in the Presale phase, these dates may change for the reasons stated above.
Currently we ship to all international destinations, as long as postal services therein work without disruption.
ii. shipping discounts
Please note that if you order more than one book from our website, the shipping cost applied to your order will not increase. We offer significant shipping discounts for all orders involving 2 or more books, regardless of your locality.
iii. cancellation of pre-ordered books
Cancellations of pre-ordered books can be made at any time before the orders are processed, for a refund less credit card fees from the original order and any fees required to send the refund, if applicable.
iv. return of purchased books
If the books you have purchased are found to have production defects, or have been damaged in transit, please send us an email at orders@aulalucis.com. While returns or refunds in such cases are not guaranteed, we consider each case individually to make sure that appropriate action is taken.
v. postal carriers
We aim to keep our delivery costs as low as possible. Our default carrier within UK is Royal Mail 2nd Class (untracked). We use Royal Mail International (also untracked) for all orders within mainland Europe, apart from the Arcanum Editions books, which are shipped via UPS within the UK, and via DHL Express outside of the UK (both services are tracked). For all other international orders, we use DHL Express, unless the destination postcode falls under the ‘Remote Area Delivery’ category. Due to high delivery surcharges for Remote Area deliveries applied by DHL Express, we use Royal Mail International (untracked) instead.
If your order ships with UPS or DHL Express, you will receive your tracking code via email directly from the carrier within 24-48 hours.
vi. import duties and taxes
Different jurisdictions have different laws surrounding the import of books. Depending on where you live you may have to pay additional fees. These are not shipping costs and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

The part which came
from earth to earth returns,
But what descended from ethereal shores
High heaven’s resplendent temples
welcome back.
